SCVNEW METHOD Sources, dates, and corrections

SCVNEW / CORRECTIONS

Correct the record
in the open.

New-home information can change quickly. SCVNew treats dates, links, and correction history as part of the work.

THE STANDARD

Correct material errors promptly.

When an official source, source owner, or reader provides credible evidence that a material factual statement is inaccurate or incomplete, we review the original source record. If a correction is needed, we update the relevant item, date the correction, and describe the change plainly.

WHAT COUNTS AS A CHANGE

Availability and pricing are snapshots.

A later builder price, inventory change, or permit filing does not necessarily mean an earlier dated report was wrong. SCVNew updates the current snapshot and preserves the original retrieval date and scope.

Private draft: no public correction intake is operating yet. A launch version needs a verified contact path, named editorial owner, and final brokerage/legal disclosures.
